RN - Emergency Room (Night Shift)
LocationFairfield, IA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights — Three 12-hour shifts per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs using the nursing process
- Provide total patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Direct and guide patient teaching to support positive health outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel
- Maintain standards of professional nursing practice throughout all patient interactions
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Must meet all health and compliance requirements including immunizations, background check, drug screen, respiratory fit test, and Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior emergency room nursing experience preferred, though not required
- Familiarity with online education module platforms and compliance-based onboarding processes
