Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, with the potential for up to 1:5 with lower-acuity patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed based on departmental staffing needs
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- BLS certification – American Heart Association only
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
- PALS certification – American Heart Association only
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI certification to be completed during onboarding
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – NRP or AAP accepted
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
