Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments in a 32-bed Emergency Department
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation procedures
- Assist with splinting and other standard emergency procedures
- Maintain patient ratios based on acuity assignments (1:4 standard; 1:6 in Vertical Care space)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, EMTs, and paramedics across shifts
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Familiarity with equipment including Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab
- Flexible, professional demeanor with a strong team-player attitude
