Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications- Active RN License required – temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room specialty experience
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech documentation system strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
