Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and accurately document care using electronic health record systems
  • Administer and electronically record all medications delivered to patients in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to deliver timely and effective care across a high-volume, state-of-the-art department
  • Manage care across a range of ED settings including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment rooms
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
  • Availability to work every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts as required; excessive time-off requests, particularly around holidays, will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department environment
  • Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
