Schedule / Job TypeContract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), Rotating Every 2 Weeks | Every Other Weekend Required | 72 Hours Guaranteed Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Emergency Department serving a large metropolitan area
- Assess, triage, and manage acutely injured or ill patients across a broad spectrum of emergency and trauma presentations
- Utilize electronic medical record systems for provider order entry and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver rapid, sophisticated emergency and trauma care
- Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development within a teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (or active Massachusetts temporary license) required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current CPR (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- EMR experience required; basic computer navigation and web-based application skills required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
