Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' conditions and interpret plans of medical care to deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed reports
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members
Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license required
0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required
Knowledge of nursing principles, medical terminology, and age-specific patient care
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
