Schedule / Job TypeContract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in a 32+ bed unit
- Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, Medics, and PCTs across shift rotations
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
- Anticipate patient and department needs to ensure efficient, high-quality emergency care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- TNCC certification required by start date
- ENPC certification required by start date
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
