    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Contract | Onsite | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department serving adolescent through geriatric populations
    • Manage a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 in a 59-bed ER averaging 165–175 patients per day
    • Deliver care in a Stroke and STEMI Certified facility, responding to time-sensitive emergencies
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic and Pyxis systems
    • Float within the facility and within scope of practice on a rare, as-needed basis
    • Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including working every other weekend and applicable major holidays during the assignment period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time travelers not accepted
    • Prior travel nursing experience required; candidates with at least 3 completed ER travel contracts strongly preferred
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    • Active BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Three or more completed Emergency Room travel contracts
    • Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity general Emergency Department (non-trauma)
    • Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
