Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients of all ages presenting to the emergency department
- Provide skilled, timely nursing care for acute and urgent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments and interventions per protocol
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the ED team to coordinate care
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up
- Support critical access workflows and adapt to varied clinical needs
