Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced Level 4 trauma ER handling 80-110 patients daily
- Triage patients efficiently in a dedicated area and manage ED holds with skill
- Administer conscious sedation and excel in AMI management for critical cases
- Collaborate with a supportive team including techs, paramedics, and 24/7 security
- Monitor and interpret tele strips while troubleshooting respiratory equipment
- Provide compassionate care for common conditions like chest pain, abdominal pain, trauma, and respiratory distress
Qualifications
- Active RN license ready to submit
- 2 years of recent ED experience
- Demonstrated triage ability for travelers
- Comfortable with 1:4 ratios in general ED and 1:2 or 1:1 in critical rooms
Education
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical thinking in high-volume emergency settings
- Conscious sedation and AMI management expertise
- Proficiency reading tele strips and equipment troubleshooting
