Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 4 nights - 7p-7:30am, 4 mids - variable shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, preferred TNCC Must-Have: - BSN - BLS (CPR) Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
