Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an emergency room setting License: Valid state license Certifications: ACLS and NIH required, PALS and TNCC preferred Must-Have: Strong teamwork and customer service skills Ability to work in fast-track, triage, and handle high acuity patients Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. Ratios in this unit are typically 1:3. All nurses are expected to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse may float between facilities as needed. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required. Candidates should be prepared to manage a variety of patient diagnoses, including trauma transfers. Candidates will be required to complete a compliance process prior to starting the role. Candidates must have strong skills in starting and maintaining IVs and triage. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. Adherence to facility policies and procedures is essential. This role may require flexibility in dealing with varying patient volumes.
