Pediatric experience is required, but it does not have to be from a dedicated pediatric ER. Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a highly demanding environment. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Scheduling days will vary based on staffing needs. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. Every other holiday is required. Candidates must have prior charge experience along with charting experience, specifically with the Epic system. Candidates will need experience with trauma-level care IV, and should have experience managing pediatrics. The daily census can reach up to 165 patients. The role requires providing care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available from various departments. Candidates must be able to float within their scope of practice as needed. This position does not permit additional time off after the offer acceptance. All candidates must meet the listed experience requirements and have their license ready by the start date. References are required. All certifications must be provided with the application.
