- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 12‑hour shifts
- Schedule: 1900 – 0730
- Hours/Week: 36 hrs/week
- Days/Week: 3 days/week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients.
- Serve as primary/assigned nurse ensuring safety and quality.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
- Safely administer medications following UHS policies.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, hospital, and professional standards.
- Participate in shared governance (unit councils, improvement initiatives, peer reviews).
- Engage in ongoing professional education and required trainings.
- Integrate current nursing research and evidence‑based practice.
- Support orientation of new staff and students.
- Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties when assigned.
- Perform additional unit‑based responsibilities as needed.
