Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years in Emergency Department License: Current Registered Nurse Licensure in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in Emergency Department - Charge experience preferred Description: The Registered Nurse demonstrates understanding of evidence-based practice. Knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacological implications is required. Ability to document assessments accurately and thoroughly is essential. Perform clinical procedures including IV, Foley, and dressings competently. Effective patient and family education is vital. Meet standards in proper use of telemonitoring and safe medication administration. Recognize changes in patient’s condition promptly. Role model safety behaviors and report errors and near misses. Act as a patient advocate. Work independently and as part of a team. Accept constructive feedback graciously. Maintain a professional appearance. Complete tasks within designated timeframes and accept duties as assigned. Demonstrate initiative and conduct necessary follow-up.
