Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Watertown, New York. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
  • Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
  • Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs
  • Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling practices
  • Function well in stressful situations and exhibit problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and delegate as necessary
  • Possibly assume duties as a charge nurse

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
  • Current NYS RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months) required
  • MEDITECH experience required
  • Travel experience required
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Critical Care and charge experience preferred
  • Lethal dysrhythmia exam and defibrillation certification (within six months) required
  • IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
