Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join the Emergency Department team in Utica, New York. This is a travel role specializing in Emergency Room services, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that involves patient care across various age groups, including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
  • Operate specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
  • Administer required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications.
  • Exhibit charge capability within the unit as needed.
  • Float to various departments as required.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED
  • Active NY License with verification through NURSYS Report
  • Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
  • TNCC certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ED nursing, including some pediatric care
  • Documented travel experience in a similar role
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
