Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required Must-Have: Epic and Cerner experience Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
