Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse for a travel position in Auburn, NY. This 13-week assignment requires a highly skilled RN comfortable working in a fast-paced ER environment, providing critical care to patients with multi-organ issues.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse- Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
- Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
- Administer blood products
- Manage central lines
- Start and maintain IVs
- Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
- Care for stroke (CVA) patients
- Care for ventilated patients
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Follow isolation precautions
- Perform triage
Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse- Minimum 1.5 years of experience
- 2 years of recent ER experience required
- Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
- If no NY license, must have already applied and provide application date
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- No disciplinary issues on nursing license
