The unit is a 65-bed Emergency Department with a pod-based structure. There is a separate area for pediatric patients and an Acute Mental Health area. A typical census is approximately 230 patient visits per day. Floating to various units may be required. Rotating shifts are required for day positions. Night position does not rotate. Candidate-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Familiarity with EPIC ASAP for electronic medical records is preferred. This role involves providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Critical skills include assessment, documentation, and patient education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities.
