Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Emergency Room/Emergency Department to join a bustling healthcare setting in Utica, New York. This is a travel contract role providing diverse patient care across pediatrics to geriatrics in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients ranging from newborns to the elderly
  • Utilize specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
  • Manage common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • Ensure adaptability by floating to different units as required

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED
  • Valid NY RN License (verify via NURSYS) along with all applicable RN licenses
  • 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatrics experience
  • Completion of travel assignments is required
  • Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be in hand)
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
