Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ED/Trauma Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd (Weekend Program Nights - Fri-Sun) Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: Minimum years of experience in ED/Trauma and telemetry competence License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) - American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients.
