This position requires a rotating night/evening schedule. The primary need is for night shifts, typically from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates with 2 years of Emergency Department experience are required. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient age range includes all groups from infants to geriatrics. Diagnoses vary widely, covering all systems and complex cases. The environment is fast-paced, demanding expertise in various emergency situations. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required, as scheduled. Floating within the specialty to other facilities may be needed. On-call pre-scheduled shifts are not required. This role includes performing numerous critical skills such as intubation and managing ventilated patients. Skills like triage, phlebotomy, and behavioral health management are essential. Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and other relevant areas are mandatory. Compliance with onboarding protocols is necessary, including lab tests and certifications. The selected candidate must be prepared to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
