Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years of Experience preferred; first timers with >3 years of experience are welcome. License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Vehicle required for this assignment Description: This position will float between units as per needs. Weekends are required every other weekend. On-call duty is not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:4. Special requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications; familiarity with specific charting system is needed. Prior experience floating is preferred, and the ability to manage various patient conditions is essential. A diverse patient population is served, including both adults and pediatrics. The role includes care for patients with varying diagnoses and acuity levels. The ideal candidate exhibits excellent teamwork and communication skills. The unit emphasizes quality care and a positive working environment. Candidates must commit to working during holidays as specified. Flexibility regarding float assignments is necessary to meet departmental needs. Candidates should expect to participate in a supportive and collaborative team-based approach to patient care. This assignment may include additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by unit leadership.
