Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Flexible to days/evenings/nights & weekends Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN license from any state is acceptable Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one year of hire - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six months of hire - Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within three months of hire - Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire Must-Have: 3 years of experience in emergency nursing Description: The role involves performing a variety of nursing care procedures that require professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments.
