Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Provide emergency care to patients with conditions such as trauma, stroke, and sepsis
- Utilize equipment such as ultrasound for IV insertion and Lucas Device
- Perform procedures like laceration repair, orthopedic trauma care, and psychiatric support
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement effective care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Active RN license at submission
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in an ED
- Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and communication skills
