Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 Nights Time: 13 Weeks
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $80 per hour

Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Department care for a high-acuity unit in Alexandria, LA. This travel contract opportunity involves managing complex cases such as strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
  • Consistently meet the expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
  • Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care administered.
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
  • BLS certification from AHA required
  • ACLS certification from AHA required
  • PALS certification from AHA required
  • CPI Blue Card required
  • TNCC required
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
