Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 3/12's Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Current licensure by the state board of nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - BSN - BLS - ACLS Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Performs a wide variety of professional nursing services. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
