- Epic experience required.
- Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Description:
This position involves working evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
The emergency department provides comprehensive care supported by a full team of subspecialists.
Each year, more than 60,000 patients receive urgent and emergent care in a busy emergency department.
The team coordinates closely with ground ambulance services and air medical services.
This role supports designated trauma centers and comprehensive care for complex conditions.
The emergency department also engages in advanced specialties such as transplant, oncology, and burn care.
Traveler will need to float as required.
Minimum experience for travelers includes two years of acute care experience in the specialty.
Pass/fail testing is required, with strict passing criteria for telemetry.
The adult exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no incorrect answers regarding 3rd-degree heart blocks.
The pediatric exam also requires correct identification of critical rhythms.
Travelers will have two attempts to pass the testing criteria.
If travelers do not pass after three attempts, the assignment will be canceled.
