Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred, 1 year minimum considered License: RN State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: - Strong skill/experience in Emergency Room settings - Charting System Experience Preferred Description: Provides care to patients in an emergency department. Works in a fast-paced environment handling complex diagnoses. Patient population includes all age ranges from infants to geriatrics. Participates in patient assessments, triage, and care planning. Administers medications and performs procedures as required. Demonstrates competence in emergency medical procedures and interventions. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Understands and applies infection control and safety standards. Maintains accurate patient records and documentation. Floats within specialty as needed. Requires weekend coverage every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
