Job Title: Charge Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years, Charge experience preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Ability to cover charge responsibilities - Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 Description: This position requires an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The role will involve floating between units and covering charge shifts as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Candidates must possess various certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Responsibilities include managing patients with diverse conditions, including trauma and acute illnesses. Team collaboration is essential, working alongside interdisciplinary support. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex situations are crucial. Candidates should be prepared to handle emergency procedures and maintain patient safety. Candidates must also be proficient in the electronic charting system used in the facility.
