Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required License: Current RN license Certifications: TNCC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, de-escalation certification Must-Have: - 1 year of experience required - First-time travelers are okay - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates should be prepared for various demanding conditions, including emergency situations that require quick thinking and decisive action. This position may involve participation in patient assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ability to work collaboratively with other health care professionals is essential. Effective communication skills are crucial for interacting with patients and their families. Flexibility and adaptability will be beneficial in a fast-paced environment.
