Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of ER experience with recent experience in the last 12 months. License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days. Certifications: - Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor - Active BLS certification from an approved vendor - Active PALS certification from an approved vendor - Active TNCC certification from an approved vendor - NIHSS certification Must-Have: - Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center - Minimum of 2 years recent ED RN experience - Prior travel experience - No hits on the state license to practice Description: This position requires experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department nursing experience. Experience in a 500+ bed hospital is preferred. Candidates must have current PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications. Travel experience is highly preferred. Candidates may take overflow inpatient holds in the emergency department on a rotating basis with other staff. Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the offer process. RTO (request time off) cannot exceed 7 days, and there is no RTO during the first week of assignment. All candidates submitted should be ready to accept the offer as soon as possible. Candidates must submit a complete cover page and a detailed resume. The resume should include all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and the number of beds listed. An ER skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months. The driver's license will be required to verify residency. Strict adherence to all background check standards is essential.
