Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Goldsboro, NC. This position offers a competitive weekly total of $2,200 and a local rate of $1,700. and is ideal for RNs who thrive under pressure and are committed to delivering high-quality, fast-paced care.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
  • Rapidly assess and triage patients with a wide range of acute conditions
  • Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff in high-pressure situations
  • Monitor and document patient conditions using EHR systems
  • Assist in trauma care, code situations, and critical patient stabilization
  • Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and accurate records

Qualifications of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
  • Active RN license (North Carolina or compact eligible)
  • BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical skills in emergency and trauma care
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in rapidly changing environments
  • Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
