Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: RN/ER Nights - WEEKEND ONLY position. Every other weekend required. The unit has 35 visits per day and operates 8 to 10 beds. Candidates with first-time experience are accepted. On-call requirements do not apply. Staff may float within scope to meet facility needs. Adults and stabilization of pediatrics are managed within this role. No trauma services are provided. The facility is a short-term acute care center with a total of 68 staffed beds. Charting is performed using the EPIC system. Candidates must have experience with blood product administration and care of ventilated patients. Skills in the interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias are required. Phlebotomy and procedural sedation administration/monitoring experience are essential. Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing, or they will be expected to shave. References are preferred at the time of application. Candidates must float within the service line as necessary. Specific charting experience in EPIC is required. No medical marijuana cards will be accepted. Travelers who obtained their RN degree outside the U.S. and do not hold a valid state license will require an extended compliance timeframe. Return staff must wait one year before returning to work as a traveler. All travelers must complete assignments as agreed upon in their contracts.
