Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of Emergency experience required; Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale required Must-Have: - EPIC EMR experience - Skills Checklist specific to the discipline listed (medical-surgical) - Professional Reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months - Active PALS, TNCC certificates - NIH Stroke Scale certificate (can be obtained during onboarding) Description: We are quickly interviewing viable candidates through phone calls or text messages. Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed. CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA certifications are highly suggested but not mandatory if the candidate agrees to obtain them during onboarding. Candidates must provide documentation of a valid driver's license. De-escalation certificates accepted include CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA. Work history, resume, and employment history must show 24 months of current medical-surgical experience. Active certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale is required. The TNCC certificate is mandatory. Candidates must be willing to obtain any required certifications during onboarding.
