Job Title: RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Pay: $2142.72 per week

Shifts: 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, LA. This travel assignment places you in a high acuity environment where you will encounter diverse cases involving strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis. As part of a critical team, you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED
  • Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given accurately
  • Assess and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED
  • BLS certification required from AHA
  • ACLS certification required from AHA
  • PALS certification required from AHA
  • TNCC required
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
