Job Title: RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $2142.72 weekly

Shifts: 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join a high-acuity Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, LA on a travel assignment. This role involves working in a dynamic environment managing a diverse range of cases including strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • BLS certification required from AHA
  • ACLS certification required from AHA
  • PALS certification required from AHA
  • CPI Blue Card required
  • TNCC required
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
