Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Pay: $2142.72 per week

Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room (ER/ED) Registered Nurse for travel assignments in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves working in a high-acuity environment, handling diverse cases such as strokes, cardiovascular incidents, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Room
  • Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
  • Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Room
  • BLS certification from AHA required
  • ACLS certification from AHA required
  • PALS certification from AHA required
  • CPI Blue Card required
  • TNCC required
  • RN License in the state of employment or compact
  • One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
