It comprises a 108-bed acute care hospital and an emergency department. The facility provides primary and specialty care services to best serve the community. The region offers a variety of opportunities for all-season outdoor recreation such as camping, hiking, skiing, fishing, and boating. It is also within an hour's travel time to national parks. In addition to the beautiful landscape, it offers a great cost of living and close-knit communities. The position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards. The role includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordination of care with other disciplines is essential while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Candidates will collect relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. They will analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues. Developing a plan to prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes is required. Implementation of the care plan and coordination of care delivery are key responsibilities. Evaluating progress toward attaining outcomes is also necessary. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and caring environment is essential. Providing learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members is part of the role. Directly providing health information to patients and treatment teams is required. Participation in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care is also expected. Appropriate delegation and coordination of healthcare team duties will be part of the responsibilities.
