Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Valid State License Required (Compact License) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Must have 2 years of experience Description: Position available for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. This is a night shift position. The schedule involves working three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekends are required, with a need for six weekend shifts every six weeks. The patient-to-nurse ratio is expected to be 1:3. Special requirements include TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Candidates must have experience in a Level II Trauma Center. Charting experience with the specified system is required. Candidates will be responsible for the care of patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility supports a wide range of patient diagnoses, including strokes, STEMI, chest pain, and trauma-related issues. Successful candidates will possess skills in management of ventilated patients, CVA care, IV medication administration, and adherence to isolation precautions. Preferred experience in charge roles, LTAC, and trauma level facilities. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float could lead to termination of the assignment. All candidates must commit to working on specified holidays throughout the contract.
