Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, Charge experience, Cerner experience License: State Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Must-Have: TNCC (Preferred) Description: Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Provides patient care using critical thinking and independent judgment, and all phases of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team, which typically includes Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians. Collaborates with the team and other disciplines in the provision of care. Completes documentation of patient care, patient condition, reactions, and response to treatment in a timely manner and tracks patient progress.
