Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department with strong teamwork and rapid patient turnover.
The Emergency Department consists of:
- 28-bed Emergency Department
- 4 Trauma Bays
- 2 Behavioral Health Rooms
- 22 Cardiac Monitor Rooms
The ideal candidate will be confident managing a diverse patient population, prioritizing care in a dynamic environment, and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care.
- Provide care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to all facility, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
