Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
  • Provide patient care for a diverse range of conditions including trauma, respiratory illness, and strokes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery
  • Administer medications and emergency interventions as required
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips
  • Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
  • Current RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications (required)
  • TNCC certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
