One year of recent emergency room nursing experience is required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is important. Recommended skills include adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
