We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent Emergency Department experience, strong critical care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments.
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR.
- Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices.
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements.
