Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required STEMI and Stroke facility experience required Description: Mandatory questionnaire required prior to consideration. Candidates must be aware of the job description and have reviewed it. Candidates should have flexibility with scheduling. There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Compliance must be completed by the designated deadline. All RNs are required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam regardless of specialty. Candidates with previous charge experience will be preferred. Candidates should have experience with patient ratios of 4 to 1. Experience in handling diverse patient diagnoses including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health is essential. The unit serves patients of all ages. The role includes managing patients on BiPAP/CPAP, administering blood products, and caring for ventilated patients. Experience with central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, and interpretation of arterial blood gases is required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in triage, managing dysrhythmias, and administering procedural sedation. The department provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates will be expected to float to other campuses as needed. Background check requirements will be strictly enforced. All candidates must provide verification of education through a third party. No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius.
