Must-Have: Previous experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED. Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Description:
Position for Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
Must have prior experience in managing acute emergency situations.
Candidates with charge experience are preferred.
Float requirements may be applicable.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patient care.
Experience with various emergency conditions and procedures is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective patient care.
Ability to provide care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Experience with charting systems is required, preferably Epic.
The position requires managing complex cases, including trauma, overdoses, and mental health emergencies.
Candidates should be adept at working within an interdisciplinary team.
Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and further training as needed.
