Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients
  • Perform assessments and document patient information using Cerner
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
  • Adhere to patient experience protocols such as AIDET and respectful behavior

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • Active RN license
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before start
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center
  • At least 1-year experience in an Emergency Room setting
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
